Editing your images is easy with the SmartFlex Solutions system.

NOTE:
If your website has not been transfered and is currently on a temporary domain, you will not be able to edit your images. Once your domain is pointed to our server you will have this functionality.
  1. Log into the editing mode for your website.
  2. Click a image icon to open the gallery.
  3. Find the image that you would like to edit and click the wand icon in the upper left corner of the image.
  4. A widow will open with tools that will allow you to resize, crop or rename the image.

Resize Image

  1. Click the ruler icon and adjust the height number, typically around 200 is a good number. If the 'proportional' box is checked the image will automatically resize proportionally otherwise you will have to manually find the correct proportions to make the image look correct. NOTE: With some images that are of a low resolution, going from a small size like 150 pixels to a larger image will blur the image. Rule of thumb, is to begin with a larger image and reduce the size, that way the clarity will be preserved.
  2. After resizing the image click the green check to process the new size.
  3. Click the floppy disk icon to save and give the new image a name. Be sure to keep the file extension and just change the image name. In most case the image is a JPEG, so the file name should be followed by .jpg.
  4. Click on the green check again.

Crop Image

  1. Choose the crop icon (the one with the dashed lines)
  2. Put your cursor in one corner and drag it to the opposite corner until you have the area you would like cropped surrounded by the lines.
  3. Follow steps 3 and 4 above.
